Australian Galactosaemia Support Network

AGSN Cocktail Reception

Thank you to everyone who supported us at our Rare Disease Day cocktail evening.  It was an incredible night and we have been overwhelmed with everyone’s positive feedback and encouragement.  We especially thank Anna Craven and Dr Janice Fletcher for their presentations, which really did give all in attendance a great insight into life with galactosaemia.

Please check out the videos below to hear the presentations of the night.

The Australian Galactosaemia Support Network is a non-profit institution set up to support the treatment of galactosaemia. The AGSN is continually raising funds to provide valuable support to Australia’s dedicated and talented medical and scientific researchers performing important research into galactosaemia. It is surprising how much research can be supported with even a relatively small amount of funding, so all donations can make a real difference.  All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

We are also committed to bringing the Australian galactosaemia community closer and regularly update our website with ideas, stories and suggestions received from the wider community. This input will ensure that this website is a valuable source of information. If there is anything you would like to contribute please submit your ideas by contacting us at agsn@agsn.org.au

Get involved – volunteer Advisory Committee positions available

As the AGSN is a newly established institution we are in the process of appointing our first advisory committee to help with ideas and fundraising opportunities. It would be great to get as many people involved as possible and we are hoping to have representation in all States and Territories. If you would like to nominate for the advisory committee or would like more information please contact us at agsn@agsn.org.au. With the support of the wider Australian galactosaemia community we believe the AGSN can make a real difference to the lives and prognosis of those living with galactosaemia.
